COBY BRINKERS

Mijn werk bestaat uit keramische vormen en werk dat ik uit laat voeren in staal.

Soms in de vorm van een installatie, maar doorgaans als autonome kunstwerken.

Bij alle vormen ga ik uit van dingen uit de alledaagse wereld om ons heen. Huis, stoel, schommel, trap.

Ik trek aan de belijning, breng vlakken in beweging en schaf nodeloze versiering af.

Zo ga ik terug naar de oervorm die daardoor opnieuw tot leven komt.
